Meet Dr. Martin Tyson
Board Certified Vein Specialist
Dr. Tyson is a board certified General and Critical Care Surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He now specializes exclusively in vein care and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
Through his experience in wound care, Dr. Tyson cared for many patients with late stage vein disease and ulcerations, which led to his involvement in vein care and its treatment. He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
Dr. Tyson completed medical school and internship at UMDNJ SOM, followed by a General Surgery Residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center. He then completed a Trauma and Critical Care Fellowship at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Following this training, he worked as a Trauma, Burn, Wound, and Vascular surgeon in Missouri for over 20 years. Dr. Tyson sees patients in our Connecticut vein centers in Hamden and Farmington.
